Context

At OkHi we don’t find Job Descriptions very useful. Both when we’ve been looking for jobs and when we’ve been hiring, we’ve found Job Descriptions don’t do a good enough job of setting the right expectations of the role, and are very one sided to “this is what the company needs from you”, and not enough of… “and in return this is what we will invest back in to you.” 

So here’s a slightly different format to the usual Job Description, inspired by the Tours of Duty concept, which we hope outlines a more balanced set of 2-way expectations that ends up as mutually beneficial times in our lives as we work together to solve an important problem in the world.
