The OkHi Head of Business Development will drive strategic objectives around the growth of the business, in line with the core mission. In this role you will be exposed to a wide range of responsibilities and drive special projects on your own, while working closely with the OkHi leadership team.

For the right individual, this unique role will serve as an opportunity to learn first hand what it takes to lead and manage a high-growth business unit. Be Bold

  • Create the strategic direction of the Business to Business (B2B) team, driving the business towards its mission and a $1M ARR run rate
  • Lead the B2B department, hiring and managing your team while working closely with the CEO to define and track your team’s performance
  • Prospect for and manage C-level relationships with OkHi’s partners

Go Lean

  • Test business hypotheses by closing deals with new partners that will grow our users, usage and revenue.
  • Identify channels to help scale sales efforts whilst keeping a low customer acquisition cost
  • Analyse data and insights in order to make informed strategic and tactical decisions

Be Open

  • Ensure transparent communication with all our partners, from terms and conditions to updates when things go wrong
  • Build trust within your B2B team and the rest of OkHi by driving a culture of open communication
  • Adhere to the highest standards of OkHi’s integrity and business ethics

Grow Together

  • Give direction and foster an environment for personal growth within your B2B team and the rest of OkHi
  • Help OkHi’s partners grow through ongoing business feedback and reviews

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

  • Graduated with at least a bachelor's degree from a recognised University
  • 4+ years of Sales/Business Development, preferably with a Mobile Network Operator, Saas or Fintech company
  • Proven track record of hiring, leading and managing a highly effective sales teams
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels, from board members to graduate employees
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast moving environment  
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexible and a positive attitude  
  • Self-motivated and able to take ownership of key topics
  • Independent thinker with excellent judgment
